Product description

Product Applications

ACSR cable is a kind of aluminum stranded wire with steel core, which has simple structure, convenient erection and maintenance, low line cost, large transmission capacity, and is convenient for laying across special geographical conditions such as rivers and valleys. It has good electrical conductivity and sufficient mechanical strength. It has the characteristics of high strength, high tensile strength, and the distance between towers and rods can be enlarged. Therefore, it is widely used in overhead transmission and distribution lines of various voltage levels.

Notes:

Resistance is calculated using ASTM standard increments of stranding and metal conductivity of 61.2% IACS for EC (1350) and 8% IACS for steel. AC (60Hz) resistance includes current dependent hysteresis loss factor for 1 and 3 layer constructions.

Current ratings are based on 75℃ conductor temperature, 25℃ ambient, 2ft/s wind, 96/watts/sq. Ft sun, 0.5 coefficients of emissivity and absorption.
